Department Of Oral And Maxillofacial Pathology of Maitri College Of Dentistry And Research Centre offers a pleothora of advanced diagnostic procedures and armamentarium; valuable both for the treatment of patients as well for the teaching of undergraduate and post graduate students. The department has both the light and compound microscope ; finest in quality for teaching the undergraduate students.

For the post graduate students the department has Penta-head microscopewhich is useful for group discussions between staff members and postgraduate students. The advanced research microscopewith specialized microscopy attachments (Fluroscent, Phase contrast & Polarizing) adds to the dimensions of research work conducted in the institute ; pertaining not only to the department but other dental departments as well. Add on this is the stereomicroscope used in various research program being conducted in the institute.
