Department Of Oral And Maxillofacial Pathology of Maitri College Of
Dentistry And Research Centre offers a pleothora of advanced
diagnostic procedures and armamentarium; valuable both for the
treatment of patients as well for the teaching of undergraduate and
post graduate students. The department has both the light and
compound microscope ; finest in quality for teaching the
undergraduate students.
For the post graduate students the department has Penta-head
microscopewhich is useful for group discussions between staff
members and postgraduate students. The advanced research
microscopewith specialized microscopy attachments (Fluroscent, Phase
contrast & Polarizing) adds to the dimensions of research work
conducted in the institute ; pertaining not only to the department
but other dental departments as well. Add on this is the
stereomicroscope used in various research program being conducted in
the institute.
The department has fully functional histopathology as well as
hematology lab; where patients are offered various diagnostic
procedures at a very nominal price. The department has a team of
well trained,skilled, experienced faculty members which expertise in
the specialty of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology.
